What happens during a Purfect Paws Pet Care "In Your Home Visit"?
When you are gone, many things have to be taken care of on a daily basis to make certain your pets are safe, secure, comfortable and happy. We go through a 20 point checklist every time we visit your pets.
- Bring in the mail and newspaper (including deliveries at your door)
- Give each pet clean, fresh water
- Give each pet the proper amount of food
- Make sure each pet eats their food
- Check on the welfare of shy or reclusive pets
- Give treats (if they are allowed)
- Clean up any “accidents” or messes that may occur
- Water plants
- Have play time with each pet
- Clean the litter box
- Maintain a comfort level in the home
- Monitor the condition of the home
- Ensure the house fence perimeter is secure
- Change the lighting arrangement if requested
- Make sure pets are in their proper place (i.e. crate or designated room)
- Write detailed visit notes for owners
- Administer medication if needed
- Check each pet’s condition
- Re-lock the house
- Disarm and arm your security system
At each visit, we will leave a detailed note as to the visit’s events and happenings so you have a complete record of time spent with your pet.
